FAQ
Yes. Truly unlimited data on T-Mobile's 5G network. No data caps, no built-in speed limits, no overages. We're an authorized T-Mobile MVNO, so the plan runs on the real T-Mobile network, not a gray-market reseller.
Your first month is charged at checkout. Your billing cycle doesn't start until you insert the SIM and begin using data, or 30 days after your hardware ships, whichever comes first. You'll get an email shortly after your order with a link to set up your account and add a payment method for the recurring portion. Hardware ships once account setup is complete.
Yes. The account is where your SIM activation, recurring billing, and plan management live. We send the setup link by email within minutes of your order. This is also how we make sure your SIM is provisioned to you and ready to use the moment your router arrives.
We send reminder emails on a cadence (day 1, day 3, day 7, etc.). Your order stays on hold and your hardware doesn't ship until setup is complete.
Yes. Cancel anytime, monthly or annual. Cancellation stops the next renewal but does not refund time already paid for. We do not prorate refunds for the remainder of a paid term. If you have not yet activated your SIM or used any data, contact us within 14 days for a refund of the first month (monthly) or annual prepayment (annual), less a 10% restocking fee. The restocking fee covers the cost of provisioning and shipping the SIM.
Contact us within 14 days of your order at CustomerService@CrosstalkMobile.com with your order number and we'll refund the first month (monthly plans) or the annual prepayment (annual plans), less a 10% restocking fee. The restocking fee covers the cost of provisioning and shipping the SIM, which we incur whether or not it gets activated. Once the SIM has been activated or any data has been used, the order is considered fulfilled and is non-refundable.
Any 5G-capable router that accepts a standard SIM. All of the Peplink routers we sell are compatible. If you already have a router and want to confirm, take the quiz or contact us.
We can't guarantee it. These plans are designed for routers and hotspots: data-only, configured for router APN settings. Some phones might activate the SIM, but we don't support that use case and we can't promise calls, texts, or stable performance will work.
If you need cellular for a portable setup, use a Peplink mobile router. They're built for this. Better antennas, real APN control, and they work seamlessly with our plans. See our bundles for router + plan kits ready to ship.
These plans are for data only (router and hotspot SIM cards), not voice or text. Phone-number porting doesn't apply.
Right now, Crosstalk Mobile service is available in the continental United States only (the lower 48 states). Coverage runs on the authorized T-Mobile 5G and 4G network, so anywhere T-Mobile has signal in the lower 48, your SIM will work.
Hawaii, Alaska, US territories (Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Guam, etc.), Canada, Mexico, and international destinations aren't supported at the moment. We're actively working on expanding coverage. Sign up for our newsletter to hear about new coverage areas as they roll out.
Yes. SIMs hand off tower-to-tower automatically. Tested in RVs, food trucks, and command vehicles. T-Mobile's 5G network is built for this.
We have a direct carrier agreement with T-Mobile as an authorized MVNO. Your plan won't disappear because some third-party loophole got shut down. Gray-market SIMs run through unauthorized reseller chains; if any link in that chain breaks, your service stops.
