FAQs
Cellular plans
Yes. Truly unlimited data on T-Mobile's 5G network. No data caps, no built-in speed limits, no overages. We're an authorized T-Mobile MVNO, so the plan runs on the real T-Mobile network, not a gray-market reseller.
Your first month is charged at checkout. Your billing cycle doesn't start until you insert the SIM and begin using data, or 30 days after your hardware ships, whichever comes first. You'll get an email shortly after your order with a link to set up your account and add a payment method for the recurring portion. Hardware ships once account setup is complete.
Yes. The account is where your SIM activation, recurring billing, and plan management live. We send the setup link by email within minutes of your order. This is also how we make sure your SIM is provisioned to you and ready to use the moment your router arrives.
We send reminder emails on a cadence (day 1, day 3, day 7, etc.). Your order stays on hold and your hardware doesn't ship until setup is complete.
Yes. Cancel anytime, monthly or annual. Cancellation stops the next renewal but does not refund time already paid for. We do not prorate refunds for the remainder of a paid term. If you have not yet activated your SIM or used any data, contact us within 14 days for a refund of the first month (monthly) or annual prepayment (annual), less a 10% restocking fee. The restocking fee covers the cost of provisioning and shipping the SIM.
Contact us within 14 days of your order at CustomerService@CrosstalkMobile.com with your order number and we'll refund the first month (monthly plans) or the annual prepayment (annual plans), less a 10% restocking fee. The restocking fee covers the cost of provisioning and shipping the SIM, which we incur whether or not it gets activated. Once the SIM has been activated or any data has been used, the order is considered fulfilled and is non-refundable.
Any 5G-capable router that accepts a standard SIM. All of the Peplink routers we sell are compatible. If you already have a router and want to confirm, take the quiz or contact us.
We can't guarantee it. These plans are designed for routers and hotspots: data-only, configured for router APN settings. Some phones might activate the SIM, but we don't support that use case and we can't promise calls, texts, or stable performance will work.
If you need cellular for a portable setup, use a Peplink mobile router. They're built for this. Better antennas, real APN control, and they work seamlessly with our plans. See our bundles for router + plan kits ready to ship.
These plans are for data only (router and hotspot SIM cards), not voice or text. Phone-number porting doesn't apply.
Yes. SIMs hand off tower-to-tower automatically. Tested in RVs, food trucks, and command vehicles. T-Mobile's 5G network is built for this.
We have a direct carrier agreement with T-Mobile as an authorized MVNO. Your plan won't disappear because some third-party loophole got shut down. Gray-market SIMs run through unauthorized reseller chains; if any link in that chain breaks, your service stops.
Peplink hardware
PrimeCare is Peplink's subscription that bundles three things into one plan:
- Direct Peplink technical support. Escalate hardware or firmware issues straight to the manufacturer.
- InControl 2. Peplink's cloud management dashboard for provisioning, monitoring, and pushing configurations to your router from anywhere.
- Full SpeedFusion licensing. Carrier bonding, hot failover, and encrypted SD-WAN tunnels.
Every Crosstalk Mobile router ships with one year of PrimeCare included. After that, renew the tier matching your router on the PrimeCare page.
SpeedFusion is Peplink's WAN-bonding technology. It aggregates multiple internet connections (5G + fiber + DSL + etc.) into a single, faster, more resilient connection. If one connection drops, traffic seamlessly fails over to the others. No dropped Zoom calls, no buffering. Full SpeedFusion features are unlocked by PrimeCare.
InControl 2 is Peplink's cloud management platform. You can monitor router status, push firmware updates, change configurations, and view connection health on every router you own from one browser tab. Useful for managing routers in vehicles, remote sites, or multiple offices without physically visiting each one.
No. The router itself works locally at 100% without PrimeCare. Your network keeps running, the modem keeps connecting, Wi-Fi keeps broadcasting. What you lose when PrimeCare lapses is the cloud features (InControl 2, SpeedFusion bonding) and direct Peplink technical support. For a single-router setup with no cloud management needs, going without renewal is a reasonable choice.
The tier depends on your router model. Visit the PrimeCare landing page and use the router-finder dropdown. Pick your model and it tells you which tier (A through E) you need. Or browse the tiles directly and look for your router in the compatibility list.
Your router keeps working. InControl 2 stops accepting configuration pushes from the cloud, SpeedFusion bonding turns off, and you lose direct Peplink support (Crosstalk support is still available). Renew anytime to reactivate features.
When you buy a PrimeCare renewal, you enter your router's serial number on the product page. We process the activation directly with Peplink (usually within a business day) and you'll see the new expiration in InControl 2.
No. PrimeCare, Virtual WAN, and other Peplink licenses are non-returnable once we process the activation with Peplink. You acknowledge this at checkout. If something is wrong with the activation itself (wrong tier processed, etc.), contact us and we'll work it out with Peplink.
Orders & shipping
Standard shipping takes 5-7 business days. Express shipping (2-3 business days) is available at checkout. Orders placed before 2pm EST ship the same day. If your order includes a cellular subscription, please promptly follow the instructions in the email you receive after checkout to set up your recurring subscription. We do not release subscription orders until that step is complete, and any delay on your end will delay shipping.
Yes. Free standard shipping on all orders over $250.
Our team often fulfills orders immediately to keep shipping timelines tight, so order modifications cannot be guaranteed. If you have an issue with an order you just placed, contact us right away by phone or text at 888-381-7750. We'll do our best, but we can't promise we'll catch the order before it ships.
Currently we only sell to the United States.
